As they step through the door, Annabelle sees the Warehouse for the first time.

It looks....like a warehouse, which is a bit disappointing. At least, it does until you get a look at the motley collection of brick a brack on the shelves.

From somewhere not too far in the distance is a whirring whine of a large vacuum cleaner...

Also, most warehouses don't have quite the acreage of this one. (Claudia suspects that's part of why it's in South Dakota - there was enough land for the madness, and it was a pretty safe bet no one else would ever want to develop it.)
"Doesn't sound like it got far, at least," Claudia says, once they're both through the door. "Maybe we can corner it or something."

"If at all possible. Thing's probably choking fatally on something already."
There's no point in making her already-long chore list any worse than it needs to be.

"That's gonna leave a mark," Claudia mutters, as they close in.
Hopefully the tapestry nommage won't trigger anything nasty?

"Now, that's not very nice," Claudia says, pulling out a pair of gloves and going to inspect the damage. "She was trying to help you out of that mess."
The vacuum's still on the loose, but at least it's not tearing up Artifacts (at the moment), and it sounds like Annabelle's got things under control. So she makes sure the tapestry won't cause too many problems before heading off after the chaos.

And she does, mostly because she heard the vacuum cleaner stop.
"You got it? Or did it choke on something else?"

"It seems to have stopped," Alice replies. The cover is back over the Mirror, looking as if it was never disturbed.

Alice is torn between the urge to cackle with glee and the urge to wring the red-headed nuisance's neck. She was so close to being free, and they ruined everything!

But now is not the time to tip them off. She mustn't waste this second chance at freedom. She can be patient, for a little while....

"Cool. Thanks again. We should get you back."
Eventually, she'll realise that she probably would have been marginally safer letting the autovac nom on the tapestry until she got to Artie's office and back. But now is not that time.

Not yet, no. Hindsight is always 20/20. "Back, yes," Alice replies, reluctantly.

She has to hope that she'll be able to sneak back in and break the accursed thing before they move it into the Vault....

"After you," she says with a convincing smile. She doesn't know where "she" came from, after all.

And Claudia, since she got Annabelle into this mess in the first place, holds the door open.
(If the reluctance on that first sentence rings any bells, it doesn't do so for very long - but then, she wasn't around for much of Alice's early performance as Myka.)
After Annabelle's back in Milliways, Claudia grabs herself a drink to go. She might as well see what the damage is on the autovac while it's off.
