AU: Annabelle and Tanya

What do you do when you realize you're in love with your best friend? Your female best friend, to make things worse.

Annabelle sighs, staring up at the dark ceiling above her bed. She's never felt this way about a woman before, the warm and tingly feeling of desire tagging along with what she knows is love. Tanya Adams is an exception to all the rules, and she doesn't know why.

Sexual attraction doesn't work like that, does it? Annabelle thought people were built to prefer one side or the other, no exceptions. Hell, she's not even sure how sex works when both partners are female. Perpetually waking up aching and frustrated, longing for things she's never known would be bad enough...

....but it's not just sex she wants. She wants to be with Tanya through good and bad, to be her PARTNER in every possible sense of the word. She doesn't know how to say it and make Tanya believe it. (She's afraid that Tanya doesn't really want her that way, that this will wreck everything between them.)

Annabelle ruthlessly attempts to squash those feelings down, to try and hide her nerves and desire as much as possible. Tonight is their night. (Can you have a date night when you're not dating?) Time to curl up together on Annabelle's couch, get a slight alcohol buzz, and "watch" an action movie. (Mostly they take them apart, rolling eyes and making smart-ass comments at Hollywood stupidity. Or topping whatever is happening on screen with stuff they've actually done.)

Tanya moans and giggles softly, enjoying the eagerness she feels on her friend. "I'm... guessing you enjoyed things so far?"

"And there I was, resisting the urge to pounce you..."

"Very much," Annabelle replies, her hands easing from Tanya's back to her breasts.

"I....was confused, at first." Oooh, that should feel nice. "I've never been attracted to a woman before, you see."

Tanya closes eyes, arching a bit into the touch, smiling. "I know the feeling. And I'm glad you decided to take a chance with me."

"How could I not?" Annabelle asks with a soft smile. There's far more than lust in her eyes when she kisses Tanya gently on the lips.

Then, she moves to kiss Tanya's neck, punctuating the kisses with words. "When I realized I wanted you in every possible sense of the word: friend, partner, lover...."

Her hands wander, gentle, coaxing, almost feather light touches over Tanya's body.

Annabelle should by now have a good understanding of where and how to touch, and Tanya relishes the feeling, gasping low. "Oh, gods... I always wanted you too..."

Experiencing things firsthand was indeed most helpful. Learning, for instance, that slow strokes there and a teasing tongue here feel wonderful.

"You did?" Annabelle asks, surprised despite herself. (That doesn't mean she's going to stop in pursuit of her goal to bring Tanya to climax, mind you.)

"ooh, right... I forgot the people of your time were al, dumb and clueless about how wooonderful you areeee...." And really, speaking while being teased is a challenge.

Intelligible is quite an accomplishment. Annabelle chuckles low. "Oh dear, I must not be doing a very good job if you can still manage coherent sentences."

That just means she needs to redouble her efforts, right?

Also means Tanya will give up coherent sentences, then any sentences: Annabelle is free to explore and learn by doing.

Explore indeed, with more than a touch of wonder. Annabelle has never been intimate with anyone before Tanya, never learned a lover's body and their pleasures.

She's kitten curious, exploring what happens when she touches there and over there. Or what happens when she gives Tanya a mischievous grin and a head of blonde curls disappears between Tanya's thighs.

For a long moment or two those tantalizing touches stop as Annabelle is torn by indecision. "I simply can't decide on a best approach," she says with a warm chuckle, kissing up the inside of Tanya's thighs. "I'll have to try each option one at a time until you scream with pleasure and beg me to stop."

Sorry, Tanya's ability to express herself in coherent sentences has left the building.

All she can do is writhe, shake and hoarsely vocalize her enjoyment while Annabelle goes over all the options available.

Annabelle gives a pleased growl at Tanya's response, but one climax from Tanya is not enough to sate her appetite. Oh, heavens no.

She seems intent on bringing her lover to climax again and again and again... Presuming, of course, that Tanya's own appetite for Annabelle doesn't prompt her to explore some options simultaneously

Oh, Tanya will let Annabelle explore for a while first; then they can move on to the many different things mutual and simultaneous they can do.

Of course, there will be pauses for cuddling and relaxing, but it's not too much to say, those two have a lot of passion and tension to work out.

They do indeed, but it's an enjoyable, if tiring, process.

Annabelle curls around Tanya, almost spooning. Her libido may be spent for the moment, but Tanya is still very much wanted.

It's still spooning if they are face to face? Because Tanya wants to kiss and tease Annabelle's neck, breath in her scent and soak up warmth. "Marry me."

She's joking.

Probably.

Maybe, maybe not. Annabelle's not going to complain either way.

She does blink at the comment, but only because she's not sure if Tanya's joking or not. She grins, "I didn't think I was that good," she jokes.

"You are awesome in many ways, silly." Tanya laughs, kissing her throat. "Lovemaking feels even better with someone you love."

There, she said it.

Annabelle is surprised for a moment, but it's the good kind of surprise.

She blushes, warm red spreading down her throat. "I'll have to take your word for that," she replies with a sheepish smile. "I've never been with anyone but you, and I don't plan on changing that."

Yes, that is a round about way of suggesting that she loves Tanya too.

"Oh, sure." Tanya can't help but tease. "Until you find someone with bigger breasts and cuter overall?"

Tanya may not believe it, but Annabelle is very serious.

"Not a chance," she replies with a smile that's slightly sad. "I learned the hard way the perils of judging a book by its cover."

"Oh, good to know you don't like me just because of my amazing body..." Well, if you like toned girl-abs and a perky small bosom, nice legs and rear... yeah, if you like athletic strong women, pretty amazing.

Annabelle is attracted to Tanya, full stop. "Your amazing body is a very nice perk that comes with the Tanya package," she says with a low chuckle.

Annabelle sneaks two fingers to a very sensitive spot for a long, slow stroke. "I'll just have to make sure you enjoy the perk as much as I do," she teases.

Bad Annabelle?

She also likes mirroring the gesture, a grin on her face. "If you say so, I'm not going to... argue..." And she lets out a small pleased sigh.

Annabelle shivers a little when Tanya mirrors the gesture, making a small pleased sound of her own.

Annabelle smiles back, somehow wriggling even closer to Tanya. "This is very nice," she says softly. The cuddling, that is.
