Morning After
Feb. 12th, 2010 03:14 pmOOC: Takes place after this.
Empathy and telepathy can be a very useful combination when neither of you has a good idea of what you're doing. Things were figured out eventually, and last night was good, very good.
At the moment, Annabelle is lying next to Connor, sleepy, sated, and faintly smug.

Date: 2010-02-12 09:26 pm (UTC)The smug earns Annabelle a little bit of tickling: his mind is open to her, so words are not necessary.
Why smug?

Date: 2010-02-12 09:47 pm (UTC)I hope I did not disappoint you...

Date: 2010-02-12 09:52 pm (UTC)Far from it Annabelle replies, certain highlights coming to mind. She leans over to kiss him. You've at least as much reason to be smug as I do.

Date: 2010-02-12 11:05 pm (UTC)Annabelle leans into his touch. I need to ask Bar for another key...

Date: 2010-02-12 11:10 pm (UTC)No, he does not even imagine.

Date: 2010-02-12 11:16 pm (UTC)Annabelle's a bit puzzled herself. Surely he doesn't think that last night is going to be an isolated incident if Annabelle has anything to say about it?

Date: 2010-02-12 11:23 pm (UTC)Nothing could make him more pleased, happy and glad.
Annabelle is pulled into a deep and long kiss, Connor's arms around her warmly.
...I never told you I can unlock doors telekinetically, did I? He does not need, need a key: the permission, the invite, are much more important.

Date: 2010-02-12 11:36 pm (UTC)The kiss and embrace are very welcome and gladly returned.
You didn't, but it's a logical assumption. Well, logical to someone who worked with people like Connor for half her life. She suspected that he could open the lock telekinetically, but that's not the point. If you have a key, it is your space as well as the other person's.

Date: 2010-02-13 12:31 am (UTC)Annabelle blushes and looks a bit sheepish. "I hope not. It would be easier if there was a way to inform the back of my brain that you, well, belong here with me."

Date: 2010-02-13 01:15 am (UTC)"Or I could try and make myself believe that you are mine, so it might try and keep you safe instead," she adds, turning very red. Annabelle's not suave either.

Date: 2010-02-13 01:26 am (UTC)"I suspect repetition would be my best bet. If you're here and I don't get hurt, it should eventually sink in."
She smiles ruefully, "I learned the hard way to be on guard all the time, I should be able to learn to let one very special person in."

Date: 2010-02-13 01:36 am (UTC)"Love you." He can speak when they come up for air.

Date: 2010-02-13 01:43 am (UTC)"Love you too," she says with a bright smile. "I don't deserve you, you know."
Then she grins, teasing, "Although I don't plan on letting that stop me."

Date: 2010-02-13 03:12 am (UTC)"But I am not letting that stop me either..."

Date: 2010-02-13 03:21 am (UTC)She's not sure how much of her would survive losing him, but it's been too late to even try and take back her heart for a very long time. She's jumped off the cliff, and there's nothing left to do but hope she'll fly instead of crash.

Date: 2010-02-13 03:28 am (UTC)He is hold to Annabelle, in more than one way. "I am not letting go." Not giving up on this, and not changing his mind.

Date: 2010-02-13 03:33 am (UTC)Not all of the people she loved left her by their own free will. In Annabelle's experience, Fate is generally cruel.

Date: 2010-02-13 09:49 am (UTC)Stay with the woman he loves.

Date: 2010-02-13 04:12 pm (UTC)"I wouldn't give fate the time of day," she says with a teasing smile. "But I like that plan." Staying with him, that is.

Date: 2010-02-13 04:19 pm (UTC)The next kiss carries a mute question: feelings are shown, settled and approved, the young man wonders about... exploring more since they do have the time to spare.

Date: 2010-02-13 04:24 pm (UTC)At this rate, they're both going to be very, very tired tomorrow.

Date: 2010-02-13 04:27 pm (UTC)Preferably not getting headlocks?
The sun will be very high in the sky when they stir, but the room is a pleasant dark still.
Connor gives Annabelle's neck a small kiss, breathing in the scent of her skin, pondering the benefits of breakfast or staying close longer.
Staying close wins out. "Hmm..."
no subject
Date: 2010-02-13 04:37 pm (UTC)The small kiss causes Annabelle to stir a bit and open her eyes. The smile when she sees his face could light up the room. "I could get used to this."

Date: 2010-02-13 04:46 pm (UTC)Now, would Annabelle also shower with him? Relaxed enough to be that casual intimate? "I will need to bring a toothbrush over. If we are going to do this often."
Some clothes too...

Date: 2010-02-13 06:13 pm (UTC)There will be a shower and breakfast in their future, eventually. This is the beginning of something wonderful, for both of them.
