aeons_crackshotSometimes the Society has to dabble a bit in espionage and under-cover work to find out who the bad guys are and strike at the heart of the problem. They have recently received information from a Medium in London, who received her information from a deceased young man of the upper crust. Someone is targeting well-to-do couples for indoctrination into a cult and, in at least one instance, then arranging for them to come to a very terminal end.
To find out what's going on, they need someone who can both infiltrate the group and protect themselves if and when things go to Hell in a hand-basket. At the moment, that means Annabelle is going to have to spend an evening or two posing as a proper lady.
This is not a thought that fills her with joy. However, if Connor was along....well, the whole affair might even end up being pleasant instead of a few steps up from torture.
