Time has passed, as it tends to do. The Æon Society has recently received word of people going missing in Greenland, and not the kind of people you'd expect to go missing, either. Natives and experienced trackers and wilderness experts have simply gone missing for no readily discernible reason.

Annabelle has done things that left her with nightmares. She's killed out of mercy, out of desperation, and out of terrible expediency.

Constance is taken in by one of the wives of the other victims, while Annabelle and Connor return to their host of last night.
Thankfully, drug control laws are mostly non-existent in the 1920's, so laudanum is, in fact, available. Annabelle is very thankful for this, as the adrenaline has long since worn off.

They've never announced their relationship, but Mrs. Edelson has been married three times and raised many children. Not much gets past her.
